The Protea wallpaper illustrates the flowering of a plant of the same name, native to South Africa. The figures feature large, oblong flowers edged with colourful bracts, stems with lanceolate leaves and cone-shaped fruit. Thibault depicts the model in a wide range of warm colours, but there are also versions in cool tones.
